Butler Wrestling is quickly becoming a top tier program, producing a recent back-to-back state champion in Brendin Patrick (an early guest on the Tailgate TV Podcast), and current dominate wrestlers such as Kellen Long, Damian Alkire, and Karli Patrick who have all 3 already claimed conference championships this year. But these wrestlers don’t just begin training once they get in Butler High School, no sir, they start young here at Butler! The Butler Youth Wrestling programs are making big waves around the state!

Over this past weekend the Butler Youth Wrestling program took a group of kids to the Odessa Team Tournament, where they finished in 5th overall, and were able to beat every team that was in the Bears District.

Not only did the team show out, but there was some outstanding individual finishes as well! Individual results for the young Bears are as follows:
