The Butler High School girls wrestling team absolutely dominated the Olathe Northwest Tournament, storming to a second-place team finish out of 22 squads with a performance full of highlights.

Breanne Mallatt and Brittany Mallatt both claimed championships, showing why the Lady Bears are a powerhouse. Addi Kuda and Ariel O’Connell fought hard to secure second-place finishes, while Karli Patrick grabbed third and Isabel Branson finished fourth. Raylynn Bowers and Riley Bordelon, battled to fifth, Brooke Conger claimed sixth, Emma Dixon seventh, and Alayna Alkire held strong for eighth.

Coach Dixon told Tailgate TV, ” This group of girls are the hardest working bunch.  They all care about each other and it creates a cohesive Team dynamic.  These girls go out and fight hard with each match.  The future looks bright for our girls program. “

From top to bottom, the Lady Bears were unstoppable, proving they are a force to be reckoned with this season. Opponents take note — Butler is coming for the top spot.
