BUTLER, Mo. – It was a strong showing for the Lady Rebels basketball program this past weekend, as both teams brought home top finishes and a ton of momentum heading into their next challenge.

The junior high squad took first place in their bracket, while the 5th/6th grade team battled their way to a second-placefinish. The tournament was packed with competition, but both groups showed grit, hustle, and heart — playing their best ball when it mattered most.

The Lady Rebels program, based in Butler and featuring athletes from across the surrounding area, continues to grow into one of the most competitive travel programs in the region. Coach Matt Berry praised the teams for leaving it all on the floor, proud of the effort and unity they showed over the weekend.

With the tournament behind them, the girls get a short breather this week before turning their attention to National North, where they’ll look to keep the energy high and the wins coming.

For the Lady Rebels, the work continues — and the trophies are starting to pile up.
