As the season comes to a close, it’s worth highlighting some major accomplishments by the Lady Bear softball team during their impressive season.
One of the standout moments came when junior Taylor Hudson broke the school’s single-season RBI record. Hudson drove in her 29th run during a game against Adrian, surpassing the previous record of 28 held by current head coach Mandy Grainger Adams.
“It’s very special to have been a part of setting that record in the past, and now getting to coach Taylor as she breaks it is even more meaningful,” Adams said in a statement to Tailgate TV.
The tournament also saw senior sophomore pitcher Kylee Dubray reach a career milestone by recording her 250th strikeout, a testament to her consistency and dominance in the circle over the course of her high school career.
Though the postseason has now concluded, the Lady Bears closed out the year with these impressive achievements and plenty to be proud of.
