On Wednesday, March 26, the Rich Hill Tigers came into Butler to face the Lady Bears Softball Squad. Kylee Dubray began the game in the circle for the Bears. Dubray pitched all 5 innings for Butler, recording 7 strikeouts while only giving up 2 hits and 1 run. 

Offensively, the Bears tallied 7 hits, but their plate discipline allowed 7 base on balls. Taylor Hudson went 2 of 3 for Butler, including a double, a triple, and 3 RBIs. Gabby Carmicheal, Ella Ragan, and Brooke Miller also recorded hits for the Bears. 

After just 5 innings of play, the Bears were atop the Lady Tigers 11-1 and the Bears would be crowned the victor. 

For the Tigers, Steuck and Wheatley would be the two ladies to get hits, Wheatley driving in the lone run for the Lady Tigers. Tialino was on the rubber for Rich Hill where she would strike out 6, walk 7, and give up 7 hits. 

After defeating the Lady Tigers, the Bulter Bears got set to host Adrian. Kylee Dubray would once again toe the rubber for the Lady Bears. In this contest, Kylee would give up just one hit, while striking out an impressive 10 Blackhawks in just 5 innings of play. 

The Bears would only record 3 hits in the matchup, however it would once again be their plate discipline that saw 6 runners on via walks. Alex Trudell, Taylor Hudson, and Sydney Davis would be the three Bears who secured a hit on the evening. 

After just another 5 inning game, the Lady Bears would find themselves again up double figures and claim another 11-1 win, this time over the Lady Blackhawks. 

Adrian’s lone hit in the ball game came from Newkirk who went 1 of 2 with 1 RBI on the night.
