The JH Bears Volleyball team traveled to Crest Ridge to partake in the Crest Ridge Tournament. The Bears would play three games of pool play to begin the morning. Butler would split their two sets with Sherwood, before warming up and beating both Holden and Crest Ridge. After dropping just one of their six pool play sets, the Bears would come out of their first three match’s being listed #1 in their pool.

Heading into the bracketed portion of the tournament, the Bears defeated Lone Jack in 2 sets to propel themselves to the championship matchup.

In the ship, Butler would square off against Archie The Bears and the Whirlwinds were no strangers as they had just battled each other on Tuesday. In their matchup earlier in the week the Bears were victorious in 3 sets. This time, it wouldn’t take the Bears a third set as they would hand the Whirlwinds a loss in 2 and take home the first place trophy!
