Tonight, the Rich Hill Tigers faced off against the Appleton City Bulldogs in the opening round of District play. The Tigers were the 2 seed, while Appleton was the 7 seed.
Rich Hill got off to a fiery start, scoring 26 in the opening quarter, while holding the ‘dogs to just 11.
At halftime, the Tigers had a commanding 47-20 lead.
Rich Hill continued to roll in the 2nd half, and took home a 72-42 victory. With the win, Rich Hill stretches there win streak to 8 games.
Dillion Coonce led all scores with 20. Brayden Chandler pitched in 19, while Zane Becker tallied 17 points.
Appleton was led by Ranye Williams with 10 points.
On Thursday, Rich Hill will now take on Mariom C. Early in round 2. Mariom defeated Lincoln 45-36.
