The Lady Tigers were looking to creep back closer to a .500 record as they were facing off against the Drexel Lady Bobcats on Tuesday night. Rich Hill Ladies have won 3 of their last 5, sitting at 6-9 on the season. The Lady Bobcats came in with a relatively similar record, recording 8 wins and 12 losses thus far.
The first quarter was a low-scoring as the Tigers held to a 7-5 lead after 1. The game would continue to be closely contested through the second, with the Lady Tigers clinging to a 2 point advantage at the half, with 18-16 on the scoreboard. Out of the locker room, Rich Hill would come alive in the 3rd period, putting up 20 points and taking a 38-23 lead into the fourth. The Lady Tigers continued to roll in the final, and took a 44-27 win over the Lady Bobcats.
The Lady Tigers were led by Maysi Miller with 12 points, followed by Trinity Burris with 10.
Izzy Richardson of the Lady Bobcats led all scoring in the game with 15 points.
For the men, the Tigers had their eyes set on extending a 4 game winning streak. Coming into the matchup, Rich Hill held an impressive 16-4 record while the Bobcats are having a decent season as well at 12-8.
The Tigers would jump out to an early 11-4 lead after the first period came to an end. The Tigers continued to press the gas, taking a 25-12 lead into the break. In the second half, the Tigers never did let up, and walked away from the contest with a 40 point, 63-23 victory.
Rich Hill senior Brayden Chandler recorded his 1,000th career point in the game, as he led all scoring on the night with 18. Dillion Coonce had 14 points for the Tigers, while Zane Becker had 10.
The Bobcats were led in scoring by Kolbi Nichols with 8 points.
