The Butler Lady Bears advance to the championship round after defeating Kipp 48-42. Freshman Kylee Durbay led the Bears with 14 points and 20 total rebounds. Fellow freshman Jenna Tourtillot added 10 points and 3 steals. Fennix led the Gators with 13.

In other Bates County sports news, Adrian suffered a second round loss to University Academy 33-51. Anoda Ford for University led all scoring with 26 points on 12-16 shooting from the floor and secured 13 rebounds to record the double-double. Newkirk and Riley Essenpries both tallied 9 points for the Blackhawks. 

The Bears will face University Academy for the championship on Friday. Adrian will play Kipp for 3rd place on Friday as well.
